Dragon Age 2 signature edition

BT replied today that no stock left of the ce.

I replied cancel order of normal version and got the digital premium version via gog.

No point IMHO in getting the normal version in physical form. Besides GOG version is drm fee and you get USD vs EUR difference back in credit on their site + 1 of 5 oldies for free.

Better deal than steam IMHO.....

Just wanted to inform everyone who bought via gamersgate that us who bought the sig also get the fadeshear and lion of orlais. I emailed them just to make sure and they confirmed we will also receive this. Everyone who preorder is suppose to get this according to Bioware but I felt better just to make sure with the retailer.

The game is officially called Dragon Age 2 or Dragon Age II for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC. Dragon Age 2 thrusts players into the role of Hawke, a penniless refugee who rises to power to become the single most important character in the world of Dragon Age.

*blink*

And here I was completely unaware of what game I was purchasing. Thank you :)

Yet another pre-order fuckup.

/back on doa2 topic.

Stefan how is ordering from GS/GG have thought about using them for other titles before.

They are good. I have bought two worlds 2 and drakensang river time from them. They allow paypal and cc transactions. They use moneybookers.com to handle the cc transaction.

They store the download and the game code on their system. You also earn blue coins each time you buy something which you can use to purchase with .

Overall they my second favorite behind steam as digital downloads go. Steam has the integrated system which gamersgate doesn't.

Something I forgot to mention about gamersgate is their policy concerning securom activations. They have a really awesome policy where if you run into any issues and need extra activations you just email them and they will reset it, no going to the developer/publisher.

Just a heads up guys. Lots of complaints on the bioware forums about european retailers cancelling signature edition orders claming EA has informed they will only be receiving a certain amount. According to Bioware they manufactured enough for those who ordered in the signature edition period.

As we know BT games were taking orders long after this period finished, so hopefully this issue won't spill over to here and BT's claims that EA has guaranteed them stock holds true.

Oh I know that it's probably unkind of me to say this but I certainly hope that that is exactly what will happen. It annoys me endlessly that an initiative to get people to pre-order and be rewarded for pre-ordering gets ruined like that. What's the point of a signature edition if it's common as mud?

Man, I only ordered mine from BT Games this week. I think the possibility is strong that I might get downgraded to the normal edition. :(

Pfff... I wouldn't be too sure of that but mind letting me know if you get any, "Woops, sorry, we made a mistake" e-mails? :D
