X360, PS3, Wii Exclusives 2009

Im planning on getting myself a ps3 as i already own a 360. There are a few games i want like Heavy Rain, MSG 4, Ghostbuster [Since its now a sony exclusive] Killzone 1 & 2, Uncharted, Little Big Planet.

Would you say its worth it?

Hell yeah!!
The Ps3 is amazing dude and you won't regret it, I would just give MSG 4 a skip, unless you get it for a bargain.
You can't not own a Ps3.

Ghostbusters is a European timed exclusive.
KZ1 is on the PS2 only but as far as the other games go I'd say its worth buying a PS3 for MGS4 alone especially if you're a fan. Uncharted 1 is the awesomeness and 2 looks even better.
 
I hope there are some major announcements still to come though ........ those lists aren't exactly that exciting once you take away one or two titles.

Just give MGS 4 a miss if your not a fan:(

I thought the massive appeal of the PS3 was that all ps2 and ps1 titles are backwards compatible. OR am i wrong?

Only the discontinued 60GB is backwards compatible with PS2 games, it can still play PSone games though.It was removed to reduce costs but hey there are plenty of good games to keep you busy.
 
Yeah there are lots of damn good titles on the PS3 and by the looks of the list I posted, there are more coming!! Get a Ps3 Mr OP you won't regret it.
 
Well that blows, one of the main appeals for me what the fact that its backwards compatible. I mean the 360 has a long list of old xbox gamers that still run on it. I'll still get it but yeah that is a bit of a bummer.
 
FFVIII! I've always wanted to give it a try. Think ill propably get bored and give up but hey. (I think that because ive never been able to stand jrpg's)

I do like western rpgs, gave FF X a try while i was in the UK didn't appeal to me. Dunno why. Will give FFXIII(I think that what its called) when it his our shores. Its always good to try new things. I hated war games like COD till i played COD4 now i love them. Hate racing games till i played NFS Underground & GRID
