The history of The Elder Scrolls

1994... Bethesda was making a "3D" real time 1st Person RPGs while everybody else was still stuck on top down turn based for years afterwards...

I count Elder Scrolls game as some of the best fantasy RPGs I have ever played.
 
Not even an RPG fan but I loved Oblivion (so many times I'd stand looking at the stars at night and get mauled by something).
Unfortunately never played any of the others (Morrowind briefly)

Also Played Morrow Wind very briefly at a friend and was impressed got oblivion but for the life of me I can't get into the game. Its like they are forcing me to get the max out of my skills and not pick and choose as I want.
 
I think I played morrowind a bit too late , it was just too old, but it still beats other RPGs (like Dragon Age - the cool story)

unfortunately TES lacks a party, where as other games make up for the fact that you are specializing by letting you choose a party.

I remember being at a friends house and his cupboard was open and there sat an unopened dagger fall game:wtf:
