Decision help please!

Alright guys some im almost done with my new PC build and i really cant decide what GPU i should get for my rig... so far i have:

922 HAF Case
EVGA X85 FTW3 Motherboard
Intel i7 950 CPU
Crucial Ballistix Tracer 6GB RAM

All i need to know is what would be the best video card to buy without it being to pricey... thanks guys :D
 
Go p67 sandy bridge. Better chips better ram management plus the mobos are starting to ship again.
The gtx 570 is pretty good but if yu get the radeon 6950 and flash it with the 6970 bios it will be slightly better than a 570 for cheaper.

I'm hoping you mean R3000... not R300...
The choice is pretty small and pitiful in that range.

None of em will be good for gaming btw.
At least not any titles over the last 2 years at anything higher than minimum settings, and even then, expect massive lag.

I'm sure he ment R3K. Well I say go for the 6950 and unlock to 6970.

Pick your poison.
Yes they are equal enough.
Yes one is better than the other at X game, and the other at Y game.
Yes one is better at low-res, and the other at high-res.
Yes the one performs better with multi-card setup than the other.

Essentially, as a single-card setup, they are equal enough.
As a possible future upgrade to SLi/CrossFire; Go with ATi.
