Well, if it makes you feel better, back when I asked, I received an e-mail saying the following:
Hi there.

We were able to get our hands on a lot more copies than most places, we still have available copies for pre-order.

So, perhaps they have been allotted a certain number of copies regardless of the cut-off date but then again, perhaps they misunderstood that that was their quota they could sell before the cut-off date but they just kept going. So I dunno. You'll probably get your Signature Edition :p

Ah okay. I just received an email from them saying there's one week left to pre-order and receive a signature edition. So either they sent this out before they were aware of the of the shortage or they have some kind of mass supply headed their way.

I don't see the difference, you don't pay to pre-order. :p I only pre-ordered now because I wasn't sure about the direction the game was going. :/

So I deserve less for having faith in the game? And I paid when I pre-ordered :p

But you're right, you don't HAVE to pay for a pre-order, but that's all the more reason why you should pre-order when you can :D
 
I hope everyone gets what they ordered for. I just find it very hard to believe BT managed to secure this amount of stock of the sig edition when us/eu retailers are struggling to fill their orders.

Could always just be EA South Africa that made the screw-up. But then, BT was the only store saying it had stock of the Signature Edition, so maybe they received the country's quota? *shrug* I don't know. All I really care about is that I get mine :)

They are the only SA retailer getting the sig but its the same for other smaller european countries with only one store getting picked for the sig and these stores are having the same issue as the bigger european/us stores. Maybe the SA market is so small that the amount secured is enough?? We will see next week.

Preloading and activation times released. Anyone knows with whom we fall central europe or uk/ireland?? Nothing on gamersgate concerning preloading yet.

Edit: Bad news seems the unlock for SA is only 00:00 friday night. So only able to play saturday, I really hope fernando's info is just of. Good news is gamersgate is offer preloading.

Just an update to this. Fernando double checked for me. Activation date for us is 10 March 00:00, so basicly 11 March.

Gamersgate just started preloading for me. Download size is 6.96 gig.:)

I wonder whether there will be a way to get it activated tuesday.:D
 
So it looks like I won't be able to get my extra content :(

The demo keeps logging me into an account I created MANY years ago and not my current one. My old e-mail address was cancelled and I got myself a new one but now it it log me into it :(, So more Staff of Parathalan and the two tomes :(!!

Ahh I'm only missing Hayden's Razor. Am I right in saying that you need to finish the DA2 demo (While logged into PSN) to get it?
 
Awesome news for me and anyone who bought their copy from www.gamersgate.com( not sure about www.gamersgate.co.uk). Just finished downloading and installing da2 and ran the activation tool. According to the tool my game will be released 8 March 11:00. So if that stays the same I will be playing on the US release date, will see what happens tuesday.
 
Seems they have corrected it now. Now unlocking 01:00 on 11 March. Knew it was too good to be true.:(

At least I have received my sig edition codes from gamersgate today. All codes I still need to receive is the two preorder item codes.
