The MyGaming Shop

Would love to use my gift, but other than the T-shirt and cap, there is nothing that I really want/need currently. Very interested in the AC:B, but seeing as how I must still finish the very 1st AC, I'll hold of a bit for now! Need more options man!

What about having a seperate list that clearly states it's items not in stock and need to be ordered and give approximate ETAs? I suspect that will increase business.

Lol i got like 3 pairs of t-shirts and caps from mates as they cudnt fit them lol :D

Think ima hold out or DA:2

Ok criticisim time...

1. The "contact us" just clears once info is submitted, no notification as to state "thank you for contacting us, we will bla bla bla"

2. System requirements for PC games. in the more info

3. For more eye candy screenshots of the game just above more info.

4. Think rather cross out Add to cart instead of making the button green when out of stock or change colour to RED

5. Wishlist?

6. If the game already has a review on mygaming.co.za a link in the products description to the review.

7. Why is the my account on the side of the main page pink???

Its still good to know whether there is stock or not. The add to cart button not clickable may make me think the site is broken.

One of the things I mentioned to Tinny as well. The notification is there on the product pages, but needs to be more obvious on the home page.

This was done specifically to annoy you _Caboose_ :p

I have a quick question. How are the deliveries done? Lycanthrope's feedback suggests overnight courier ... or do we get to choose?

Ja, ordered last night and the package came today. Nice and fast :)

Lol ... which particular part of my question were you saying yes to? :D

My delivery address is a PO Box though, which is why I raised the question. You should possibly include this on the site as part of a FAQ page Tinny - I imagine people will be asking. Frequently :p

If something is sold out, what is turnaround time typically?

How it's going to work is we're going to order a bunch of new games every few days. We will gauge demand for certain titles, but don't want to be stuck with stock that is not moving. We might do something as simple as create a dedicated shop forum with a sticky thread each week where you guys can post what you want and I can tell you how long it will take to get in.

FAQ page in the works. We're not going to include post office deliveries unfortunately, it's just a hassle and I can't really see why someone can't provide a physical address? We have two great courier companies that both deliver faster, cheaper and more reliably than the post office.

Jeez... Mafia 2 just arrived

So you guys shipped it yesterday before payment had even cleared. Impressive and appreciated :D

Oh, and the included letter was a nice touch too, happy to support :)

Tracking numbers to be included in future orders.

In my case it's relatively easy to explain - I'm only in the office during the morning, in the afternoons I'm all over the place, so nailing down a specific place to deliver to has always been a problem for me. And I've never been comfortable with someone else signing for my orders.

If however, the delivery can more or less be guaranteed in the mornings, then it can be shipped to our offices without an issue - I'm quite happy with it that way then :)

Just purchased myself a copy of Rift for R200 :D. My only gripe right now is the rather pricey courier fee. R65 is not all that competitive. :/

Must say I am pretty impressed by the shop. Sure there is not much being sold at this stage. But the site is very user friendly. Nice and simple design with a neat layout, not cluttered at all which makes a difference in user friendliness. I also like the fact that the buttons and links are fairly small and neatly put to side and top. Also, the stock counter, as Lycanthrope earlier mentioned, actually does work.

I ordered my MyGaming shirt about two days ago and received a call from someone at the MyGaming shop who said that they had received my order and that it will be delivered to your doorstep within twenty-four hours. In the end it took them around fifteen-hours. Plus, I am happy with my shirt:D

So all in all I am happy. I think it has been planned well and I hope it is a success. I will definately be purchasing items from here again.

Nice one TM.:)

I'll agree that the delivery fee is somewhat hefty ... but in all honesty I'm badly spoiled because I generally order things from Take2 and their office is a 5 minute drive away from my house - meaning I can go pick it up. And ... well ... 24h delivery time is pretty awesome, especially seeing as I'm quite stoked at being able to get my paws on a copy of rift.

I know me, Isengard, MissM and Voicy have ordered - so I'm guessing it's pretty much out of stock already :D

So yeah, checkout was pretty painless - got all my notification emails about a minute later - and then got a courtesy call from the store. Bonus marks for that - I seriously wasn't expecting it. Told me I can expect my package tomorrow morning.

So ... my rating ... WOW out of 10. ;)
