Hacking, cheating, Config filing and genreal unethical online gaming practices

Yeah its def getting worse. Especially the binding.

I've also noticed the general level of pathetically is rising rapidly. CoD4 rounds now often start with a noobtube projectile wiping out the entire team the second they spawn. The level of lameness is difficult to comprehend...

What happened to a good old fashioned shootout on a level playing field?

As for the shrubbery getting edited out...PB should catch that if there is *no* shrubbery. Also depends on the gfx settings. On lower settings the engines legitimately don't render them at a distance (LOD setting).

Haven't seen any hacking in BLOPS so far, but I did see my fair share of it in MW2. Also haven't been called a hacker yet. Could be cause I don't have brilliant games all the time like some people......... *cough* Maplassie *cough*

But hey if you guys see a |BFC|Scart (BLOPS nick) killing you you don't have to worry that he's cheating.....

Almost every night in BC, starting to piss me off a bit. Bit usually not only that. I get called a hacker and then the name calling starts. Like the other night, Rif, myself and another mate were flying in a chopper in BC 2. For about 20 mins :p. They just couldn't get us down hahahahah. I had 40 / 5 and the okes were going ABSOLUTELY MAD! Bs Rambo, BS!!! Screw your mother etc etc and then the admins, yes, the admins started calling me names and telling me I'm a P.

Another guy did come apologize in TS afterwards, which was quite funny! :p

Also the other night while playing Crysis 2 demo, there were a bunch of okes from MyG and some other random saffers playing. We were all chatting and stuff when suddenly the one oke started getting serious and called me a hacker and then calling me names after I got 34/2. I can't help they didn't kill me?

I actually realized it was stupid when I started getting thoughts like "Oh damn, maybe I shouldn't play so well, just now they call me a hacker again". That's about when I said screw this, wtf! I can play like I want to... :D

What also really gets my goat is the TKing. I mean WTF??? This is especially apparent in BC2. Now, if anyone goes and checks my stats, they might notice I have quite a tally on the TK front, but that is because I play hard. Many have really been purely accidental, some I knew would happen but for the sake of winning I did it and some were intentional. The winning scenarios are where I've c4ed a bomb or some such and the dude couldn't get away and enemy would defuse or some such. Intentional have been retaliations against being TKed myself. Not excusable in the least, but I have never TKed a oke cause he got to the chopper first or something like that.

In my experince I haven't seen much purposefull TKing on my part, but it pisses me off on an infinite level when a guy runs straight into my line of fire and we both die! :mad: NEVER run infront of a team mate! Go around behind them!

Getting accused of hacking is part of playing online though
In CoD I used to be accused every round by some idiot or another, having 119 000 kills on our servers and being ranked No 1 on Alpha for more than 2 years ofc didn't help convince anyone otherwise.

In fact some of the very people on these boards have accused me of hacking :)

Try learning OpenGL/DX and suddenly everyone around you is.

Usually the progression is like this: Learn to render a green polygon -> Build something like Crysis...only better.

PS: I'm not exaggerating nearly as much as you think.

To be honest I've never had a problem with cheaters in online games, mainly because I've only really taken WoW and SC II seriously. Never run into it though.
