Hey Guys.

A friend of mine has Designed a social networking site that allows you to Upload and download videos, music and many other things from other users, so for example if you have recorded a new song you can share it through this site.It is currently in the Beta process and It's basically a combination of facebook, twitter and Myspace. The thing is we need more users to test it in order to get feedback on the pros and Cons, so please Join the site with this link:

And share you're opinion here on the Forums.

One more thing, By joining and helping us with your input before the first of april, you can stand a Chance of winning an iPhone 3G.

It would mean a lot for our little project.

We're not really trying to kill facebook (as an impressive task as that is), we're simply trying to provide an alternative. A site that is relatively different to facebook, yet carries some of it's popular features. If you sign up you will understand what I mean :p

Interesting looking site, created myself a profile. Doubt I'll use it much though, barely use other social networking sites.

Well by simply signing up you put yourself in a draw to win an iPhone.

What did you like about the site and what did you hate?

Can't say there's really anything I hate about it, but it would probably be better if it didn't look almost exactly like facebook.

I agree with you completely actually, However, I think at the moment we want to get some of the more integral aspects finished before worrying about aesthetics.

Looks like it was bought from a website selling those aweful facebook clone scripts. I hope sincerely that it wasn't. The big thing you have to look into is "why would I use dugg-in if facebook already has most of the features I want and enjoy?" Now you mention the music sharing section, that seems to a nice draw card especially in our country where a lot of talented musos or bands never get discovered.

Also, how will you stop members from uploading copyright material?

Ill create an account a bit later and give more feesback, I wish them all the best.

We're gonna start getting admins as well as write some security in order to prevent copyright infringements.

It's not only music you can share, but also Videos, pictures, software, E-books anything really as long as it doesn't infringe on any copyright laws.
