18 May a public holiday!

LOl ja soortvan. Neem aan dis dan te laat eish

i'm regged, ready to vote when time comes. still i'd like to hear from the ZONG GOTO FUCKING HELL or VOTE click what's their real intention/motivation behind voting as mathematically it's impossible to win against the majority vote going to anc each time. unless of course they or some of them can be finally vote some other party.

now comes the question why are they always voting anc ? perhaps who wants to vote for example for the DA/SACDP/VF when i look at them at face value and see all they do is point out the faults of the ruling party. i'll watch again for those "stop zuma" or "zuma gaan jou rape" etc etc and i will once again think why not tell me who different you will be apart from ZOMG THE FUCKER IS GOING TO FUCK YOU UP !!! or god is the way. i'm sorry, but god is not the answer we need here nor some party that at each time just put poster of the Swart Gevaar out. then they wonder why majority or major vote is not achieved.

voting makes more of a difference in local elections VS presidential ones where we can thank god due to their greed cope sprang forth and two thirds was not achieved.

however it's not really stopping them from doing what they've learned from the previous government and doing it so well. part of the problem is those especially who gets a hard on or justified patriotism in themselves, telling others to GTFO and STFU each time round. i suppose they think it's helping, because they are part of the "solution" where as the problem people are GTFOing and STFUing. maybe deep down they hope that the real "problem" would also just GTFO/STFU.

suppose we will always get the sheep++ who must keep the sheep in check, indifference must be frowned upon, it must be burnt at the stake, how else...

I lol'ed this morning on my way to work ... I saw one of the ANC campaign posters. Must be specific to the Cape ... it had a pic of ol' Zuma with a passion-gap :D

I'm not entirely sure if this was intentional or if someone did it afterwards by colouring his teeth (too dark to tell at 5:50 in the AM), but if it's intentional its ROFLMAO-worthy.

In the immortal words of George Carlin...

"I have solved this political dilemma in a very direct way: I don't vote. On Election Day, I stay home. I firmly believe that if you vote, you have no right to complain. Now, some people like to twist that around. They say, 'If you don't vote, you have no right to complain,' but where's the logic in that? If you vote, and you elect dishonest, incompetent politicians, and they get into office and screw everything up, you are responsible for what they have done.

You voted them in. You caused the problem. You have no right to complain. I, on the other hand, who did not vote -- who did not even leave the house on Election Day -- am in no way responsible for that these politicians have done and have every right to complain about the mess that you created.
