Crysis 2 Review Up - Gameinformer

I think Crysis 2 is really amazing, I had played Crysis 1 when it came out and it was good at the time. I love the fact that they've decided to move Crysis over to the consoles, pretty much the best decision they made :) I've been playing on Super Soldier difficulty and I'd have to say that the AI is really not THAT dumb but the occasional bug would pop up here and there but it's really nothing standing in the way of such a great game. Personally I hated having to switch from strength mode to cloak mode to speed mode constantly in the first Crysis and the sequel is a huge improvement, regarding the fact that you dont need to constantly change modes. The maps and city environments are stunning and it really looks like a city under alien attack. One thing that makes Crysis 2 worthwhile is definitely the fact the campaign is longer than your average shooter. The multiplayer is also really not too bad either, I'm really enjoying it... I mean when do you ever get to make use of a nano suit in multiplayer games? :O
To sum it all up I want to say that I am super impressed and that Crytek have really outdone themselves this time.

I've hit an extremely annoying point in C2 last night...

Some of the core mechanics of the game just don't work well later on in the game.

Will see if they somehow "solve" these problems with better weapons, or a backpack for larger ammo storage, or whatever.

Please elaborate, man! :D

.............. REALLY??

Nah, I was just kidding man! :D I don't know dude, I can't get past that past still. That's where I stopped playing last night. I think you need to go into stealth to catch the ducklings though, because they keep getting scared.

Well, starting the game the first thing I noticed was rather limited ammo.
At most you get 2 spare clips per gun, that you can carry around.

This was fine for the first bunch of levels, as you just pick up a new gun, or walk over enemy bodies to collect their ammo as refills.

Now, much later in the game, (without spoiling too much), you're not fighting humans anymore... you can't use their weapons, or pick up their ammo.
The ONLY ammo available is from the little boxes, and on the difficulty I'm playing... taking down a pack of 4 of these things = you don't have enough ammo... EVER...

REALLY annoying having to run back and forth across half the level looking for ammo boxes that you haven't depleted yet!

That's why you need to plan ahead :D Always have a sniper rifle and a few rockets :D.

Added that it feels way too much like Prototype +guns.

Maybe it's just because I'm sick, and with my stuffy sinuses and constant headaches, I am very easily annoyed now...

Isn't that 'Soldier' difficulty?

Like I said... Hell if I know!
I always just choose the hardest one available...

Never remember the names, unless they use normal conventions like Easy, Normal, Hard, Very Hard, Insane. etc.
