So in this week I preordered OF: Red River. Called this Nic Simmonds guy and he told me suppose to be delivered here yesterday so this is the last time I will use mygamingshop again. BTgames is 100 times more reliable than mygamingshop. I suggest you work on this. payed R150 and now sit with nothing what BS

I've yet to had mygaming tell me Oops! Sorry, your have ordered something that is not in stock. Or the classic, Item is out, but not everyone was informed.

You probably find that there was a complication with the delivery company and not the MyG shop itself, they're also probably unaware that there is an issue.

Dude you have to realise that the shop is still new, there will be teething issues, as with anything new.

MyGaming are trying to put together an awesome shop that will eventually be able to supply any game at an awesome price.

I do understand your frustration though, but maybe give Nic and the team a bit of a break, I think they are really trying to get this going as smoothly as possible :)

There are usually problems when a new system/company/whatever is put in place, you simply just can't expect it to be perfect. Without the mistakes that they make, they won't be able to learn and correct it in the future so that the very same problem can be prevented. Fortunately it's a new company and they are basically just learning the ropes :D Hopefully they will be one of the best game suppliers in SA some time soon
 
Diceair called me about the problem this morning (happy Easter).We sent his game out on Wednesday, and Fastway promises a 24 hour delivery time in Gauteng. It should have been delivered yesterday, but it wasn't, and we don't know why. They are closed today so I cannot follow this up with them right now.

The best thing we can do in this case is refund him enough cash to buy it somewhere else today. We have wired diceair R355 - BTGames' price.

Note that this is over R100 more than he paid us in the first place.

WHEN you get the 2nd copy when the courier finally delivers, what are you going to do with it?

I also had a delivery delay with their courier when I ordered Rift, but they were very cool about it and eventually the game pitched up a day later.

Looks like you just scored 2 games for R100 less than the price of one. Hopefully that'll inspire you to make a "Happy about mygamingshop" thread too. :)
 
From the title I was expecting a game to be 2 weeks late or the wrong game being delivered but this thread just shows why the My Gaming shop is a good place to buy.

And when the original game arrives then DiceAir will have to give it back since it was refunded.

omw how will I do that? Can mygamingshop contact the couriers to get the original delivered to mygamingshop
