they took dna samples, dental impressions then dumped the body into the north atlantic,
 
its funny how they claim its him and not release any evidence and dump the body immediately ...

guess the tier 1 forces have degrees in autopsy as well hey ...

so they dumped saddam hussein's body in the ocean too right?

alot of things are unclear about this ... guess we have to wait and see

The reason for dumping his body in the ocean is simple, he's Muslim, they have to be buried before the sun sets on the day of their death. Since no country, not even his birth country, wanted him they buried him at see in a gesture to the Arab world that though they hated the man they still respect his Religion. Saddam was a different story, he was captured and trailed in Iraq after which he was executed by hanging. Osama had been tried in absentia and convicted which is why they executed him when they stormed his compound. I'm sure some of the top echelon guyz would have liked him alive but the chances of that happening was always slim at best.

Autopsy is normally performed to determine cause of death, in this case its rather easy... he got shot. Plus I am sure that what ever ship they took the body to after wards had a fully staffed & fully qualified medical detachment that could do an autopsy if one was required.

I think Al qaeda is definitely going to retaliate.. It's just a matter of time until the next terrorist attack.

Which is why the us state department has already issues travel warning to all US citizens and all their military bases are on red alert. Unfortunately this isn't some Saturday morning Cartoon where once the big bad boss is out of the picture the organisation devolves into chaos, you cut the head of the snake, 2 new ones sprout in its place.

Yup, apparently this "travel warning" is until the 1st of August. But even that is too soon I think. They have to be on red alert permanently now.
 
About time they disposed of him. Wish there was proper evidence though (other than the government's word) to shut all the conspiracy theorists up. All I know is, that the picture of Bin Laden's body is a fake. Not going to post the link of proof here, for sensitive viewers' sakes, as it actually shows a dead dude, but the pic is fake.

Ja, the pic wasn't posted by the government. Some guy just used his photoshopping skills. I don't think the users the frequent these forums would really be disturbed by the picture of a dead person.
