The Offical "MyGaming" Worst Anime Thread

Ok i'll start things off. A really bad show that i've recently watched is Peach Girl. The animation was bad, the story was crap (this weak, annoying love story) and the characters were just plain irritating. I barely made it through two episodes before filing alongside "The best of Hannah Montana".

Well how are you supposed to know whether you'll enjoy it or not if you don't watch it? Not everyone considers the "best" anime the "best".

Well if everyone says it sucks then I don't waste my time. As it is theres so much good anime out there...why waste your time on the bad ones.

I really seem to like all Anime (guess I'm addicted) but if I really had to list...
emm...Kannaduki No Miko was kinda rushed off (and had horrible ending) and Scrapped Princess just didn't grab my attention. Rozen Maiden was kinda dull and Tenjou Tenge was really great besides the plot break.

Well then you've obviously only watched the mainstream anime. And if you were really serious about anime you wouldn't only go by your friends' opinions. Afterall when DBZ was on TV everyone thought it was the best thing since whatever came after sliced bread. But the show was actually pretty crap.

Dude I watched Yakitate Japan aka Bread. That goes to show I watch anything, as long as it doesn't look like trash. Final fantasy Unlimited for example is something I wouldn't try because everyone says it sucks, and I have limited bandwidth.

I really hated Macross Plus... I really tried, I watched at least 3 episodes and the first 10 minutes of the movie, and I really could not handle it at all. I also cant stand Neon Genesis Evangelion... I tried watching it, I even bought some of the manga's but once again I hated it. I think the characters did it for me, I just was not willing to put up with them.

I cant remember the anime's name but it goes something like this.
2 BF(guys) are riding a motorbike from school and see this orb thing land in the forest, they check out and the guy with red hair catches this "naked" babe falling out the tree.
She is some kind of alien trying to destroy the world but they dont know it.
Another alien attacks them and she give the redhead some kind of power so he can transform.
A few days later(1 or 2 episodes later) another orb falls from space and this time it's given to the other friend and I believe this one is good.
Anyhow I got bored after the 4th episode. It was basically this (Boy wants to protect girl and save the world type of thing, meaning he will get hurt a lot and she will probably fall in love with the guy).

I watched the OAV and liked it. But it doesn't really have a story, or maybe they tried telling too many stories....... I couldn't tell.

MY PERSONAL WORST ANIME EVER!!!!! Honestly don't know what poeple see in it. Watched the entire series. Thought is ok till the last couple of episodes and was like: "Huh? WTF!" Then I heard there were movies out, hoping they would shed some light on "WTF!" I watched them...... let's just say that I'm glad I didn't buy them.

Poor NGE!
It is probably one of the "classic" animes that did more for anime in South Africa than DBZ or Pokemon did.
I remember that NGE was the anime that made me want to watch anime.
It is getting an decidedly unfair rap.
But hey strokes and folks.

Well, if I'm honest here I'd have to admit that the first time I saw it I was all like "Oooohhhh..... Ahhhhhh....... deep stuff man.....". It was my very first anime series that I watched from start to finish.
But the more I thought back on it and the more animes I watched, the more I thought: "Man...... what crap was that NGE thing."
Maybe I just don't get it.

I must admit that i also thought NGE was amazing when i first saw it. And most other people who had never seen any anime also did. I also thought the same thing about Inuyasha. But it just turns out to be an irritating story that has the same thing happening every 10 episodes.
