Howzit guys,

So seeing as though this game is being released in just over a week (YES!!!) I reckon we should have a thread where we can talk about all things Witcher 2 :cool:!

I'll start off; has anyone seen this new vid?!

Oh my GOD!!!! I mean why is it that only CDPROJEKT (In RPG terms) put this amount of care into their games?!

How can this game get any better :eek:?! I can't fucking wait!!

I have to thank Wlad for opening my eyes to this fucking awesome game :love::D!! Hot damn it just looks fantastic!!!
 
My wife is also very excited about this one. She pre-ordered the collector's edition and even made a life-size replica of the poker-dice game from the first Witcher game :)

I also upgraded her PC with my old GTX280's - so that should give her PC enough horsepower to run the game properly (hopefully).

What?! Your wifes games?? That's freaking awesome bro :D! Haha if only I could get my GF to even play the Sims!!
She doesn't like anything to do with gaming :(.

Either way, I am amped for this game! Even if I do not get to review it I will grab it at release. I cannot wait like I did with the original game.

Love it that the world feels quite alive. I haven't played a game where a big effort was made to making the world feel living and breathing since Ultima VII: The Black Gate.

I have managed to convince my lady to play games with me but she has to use a gamepad as her keyboard/mouse skills are really really shit
 
I find it strange for some reason I pretty much forgot the story in the first game (and I played it fairly recently). Guess it did not make that big of an impact on me which makes me think. However, Geralt, and the world I felt resonated with me instead and more than made up for it. Something about that world I just loved.

Can't wait for release. Going out of my way to grab a copy, and I seldom do that these days. Also James is doing the review, but hell, I know he will do a great job of it! But James, The Witcher 3 is all mine MUWAHAHAHAAAAAH!!!!
