My fav issue of the day:

A building we designed for someone else is rented by another party.
The tenants managed to damage the paint in the boardroom and also managed to break tiles on the stairs leading to their second floor.

Now they want the paint colours and the name of the tiles so that they can replace it before the building owner comes around (he apparently inspects the building randomly). Ironically they managed to get the boardroom repainted in the correct colour. But now the one girl is moaning at me because they can't get replacement tiles - Tile Africa has stopped making that range. . . .

(I do know tho that the owner has the left over tiles from the building phase stocked elsewhere) But the tenant wants me to find them the exact same tile without the building owner finding out.

Now Ive told her politely I can only give her the specifications. I can not source the tile for her since they are not our clients.

Stoopid people that can't take NO for an answer....And you were still polite?

I would have told her to go eat sh)(t and die......:D
 
Heh Kel, I have to be polite, part of the job :D But then again if she calls me again today I might just tell her what she can do with the tiles :D

It just tires me out. Now im off on a mission to find the flippen cricket that I can hear but not see and the noise is slowly driving me nuts.
