If we're getting this posted to us by Take2, does this mean we'll only be getting it on Thursday, or will they post it on Monday afternoon so we can get it on Tuesday?

As far as I know they courier it so you should get it on Tuesday

Well the one time I pre-ordered a game (Civ V CE) and I got it a day early!
So you never know bro! Just make sure you're at home tomorrow just in case :D!

Mine's being sent with Speedservices, because I can't ensure I'll be home for it. Got classes to run etc. That's why I'm a bit worried, because I'd really like it to be here on Tuesday. I didn't have time to register for the elections, so if it can be here on Tuesday that means I'll have the entire Wednesday uninterrupted to play the game. :P

Not like voting party X guarantees that a decent person from X will be in power, should I sue you if you vote X and person that governs your ward is kak ? ;)

Sorry, my Rosetta Stone is currently busted.

My point is that everyone who can vote, should vote. We live in a country that has serious problems which are treated by many with complacency until it hits them, then they complain but have never been bothered to make even the smallest difference.

It takes a few minutes out of your day to pop over to your local municipality or IEC building and either confirm details, register or re-register. And please, you've had five years to register, in all that time you didn't have a moment to spare?

Just think it's funny that some people can't be arsed to vote but take praise in the public holiday as though it's entitled to them.

ZA has serious problems, either try play a part in fixing it, or sod off, is how I feel about it.

So you'd be voting ACDP? I see their "church" has opened the door to all... magically before the 18th. Never said I'm not registered, but can I hold you accountable for the govern party's choices in the ward or even further up ? I mean by all just you voted them into power then the blame should equally be yours if they fuck up. Ow, but that's the beauty of an autocratic made democratic right :)

God I pray one day I can have such love holding a sword and an olive branch :D

"Ow?" You hurt yourself? O.o'

My choice is my own, each individual makes their own choice and holds their politicians accountable. If politicians fail to represent their electorate then they are unfit and should be disciplined and replaced by a proper representative. That's how it should work, ideally.

Somehow I suspect I'm being trolled by someone who is known for their duplicity.

It's simple: either you are part of the solution or you are part of the problem. There's no middle ground. Don't vote? You're part of the problem. Allow repeated atrocities to continue without holding those responsible accountable? You're part of the problem.

There is no excuse.

Remind me again how we got from Witcher 2 to elections? I didn't have time to vote, because the last chance I had to register to vote, I didn't have my ID with me. Not that it has anything to do with anybody else what I do with my democratic right to vote.

You are able to register to vote any time at your local municipality or IEC centre. Registration weekends are incentives which, obviously, seem lost on people. As I said, you had five years.

Your failure to vote doesn't just affect you--every single person's vote is important even if I don't necessarily agree with everyone's vote; it affects everyone.

I guess I just think it's sad how many people underestimate the significance of their vote.
