Not sure, but maybe he's talking about the "Troll Trouble" DLC [it is free] . The quest will be added to the noticeboard in chapter 1 and relates to a troll and his problems...

Hmm I started my game before I downloaded the DLC so that's probable why I never saw the notice, thanks for that mate!
Well there's another set of trolls in chapter 2...can't miss them...and they look the same as the DLC ones.

Not really 'glaring mistakes', rather just budget restrictions causing flaws. Animation is jittery outside of cutscenesm, no real blending when going from one position to the next (i.e. changing between running/ walking, changing direction whilst moving). Length of Chapter 3.
Again, these are mostly brought on by either budget control or atleast dev time (which is also actually budget related).
Not saying the game is bad, just sad about the length really

It could be Diablo ... if Diablo had less loot, smaller levels, fewer enemies (types) and was focused on being a cinematic experience
That being said, the only thing relating these games is that both are RPGs, both being shining examples of sub-genres beneath RPG. I would recommend this game though, since it's been awesome thus far and games of this quality only happens once every 4 years or so =)
It won't tide you over until D3, but it will be a nice experience for a month or two. Besides, TorchLight 2 should be the crawler you're looking for, think it's set for a july release window.

Not even close. It has more in common with Oblivion/Morrowind/Gothic/Risen than Diablo . The game you want is Dungeon Siege 3 , coming out somewhere around now.

Don't know about DS3. The engine looks nice and they'll be doing loot whoring 101 and it would be nice of the captures some nostalgic feelings from the first two in MP. But the combat looks so damn dull.

Not sure how many hours exactaly but it took me 4 days of gaming to finish( it wasn't ended to xfire till late last week I think I may have taken something like 30-40 hours in total gaming time from first launching the game). Agree with it being too short but there is replayability so that makes up for it. Can't wait for more dlc and expansions.
Will play some fable 3 and drakensang river of time expansion then comeback to do the other paths of witcher 2.

That's the point isn't it? It's Diablo...just newer
. The point being, if you want Diablo gameplay, Witcher 2 is not it. At least 70% of Witcher 2 is story,world,plot . The other 30% is fighting, looting and gearing up. That is the complete opposite of what Diablo is ;-)Obviously one can recommend Torchlight, Darkspore and Titan's Quest for the guy too, but DS3 is at least new amd might be good or not. We'll see next month.
