Witcher for console to be announced at E3

Saw this on Eurogamer last night. More great news from CDProjekt RED. ESRB already has a rating for an X360 but I'm hoping that doesn't rule out a PS3 version as well.
 
Seems to be quite a lot of buzz regarding the PC versions of this game. I might just go check this out on Youtube first, have no idea what it is about.
 
Although this serve's as proof I'd like to hear it straight from the "Projekts" mouth. I do prefer to own the title on PC as I'm sure it will look a hell of a lot better on a high end PC rig.

The game ships with support for the Xbox360 controller. It's how i'm playing it at least.
 
Good to know. I remember buying this awesome wireless controller with a lot of buttons back in the day. Because a lot of games did not support controllers back then, you had to map keyboard keys to the controller. What a mission that was re-mapping it for easier use with different games. Glad to see that PC games now almost fully supports this.

So not only do I get to show my support for CDPROJEKT by buying a console version but now I also get to hunt for trophies for this awesome game :D!!

Duh! Of course we WILL be. I wonder why he's so vague regarding if its going to be Witcher 2 or not. If not a Witcher 2 game, then what else? Probably just said it to keep us in suspense. And cuz he's not allowed to say anything factual that is.

... just check my previous post about the console game they announced back in like 2008. Chances are they are reviving that exact game now. This implies it won't be "Witcher 2" being "ported" , but may be this old game that was titled "Rise of the White Wolf" . But who knows...

It might be, but from what I've read from other threads it sounded like the devs were planning on porting the Witcher 2 specifically to consoles. Either way though, it'll be a Witcher game on console! Yay!!
