Birds of Steel announced – New flight combat sim IP

This concept could be either BRILLIANT or CRAP. Depending on the controls.
I was thinking that I miss playing a good Flight based Combat game.... Think back to F16, Wing Commander, Lock On, F22 Raptor etc etc. There havent been a good Combat Flight sim in ages.
 
Oh wow. I haven't played a flight sim since Pacific Theater(about 5 years ago). Hopefully this will be good. (please, please be good)
 
I agree with m3m4ce, control is extremely important when it comes to a game like this. A new flight sim sort game has been long overdue, i am just disappointed it is only going to be on consoles :(

Oh wow...I missed that part. How will controls work well on a console? (not saying that it won't, I just think it would have worked better on a PC)
 
This does look pretty awesome, but I do hope it is more "simulator" than "arcade". Also wish it was based on modern planes though, but this is good.
