Looks promising though Far Cry 2 looked promising until you actually played it. It does look like they have learned from FC2's mistakes.
I think the focus on the whole "definition of insanity" thing is a learning, adaptive AI. I.e doing the same thing several times will get you killed. Will keep an eye on this one.

What insinuation are u trying to make? Are we going down the whole "consoles are killing gaming" thing again?
From a gameplay perspective we've seen less than 6 min and a few odd mechanics; several stealth kills, a cover system little else. Don't you think its a bit early to be calling the gameplay "predictable &/boring"? Looks a whole lot less boring than Bulletstorm or DNF to, if memory serves, the legion flocked....

Yup, that's the insinuation I wanted to make, well spotted. Although, not precisely though. It's definitely holding the advancement back. It doesn't seem like this game will bring anything new to Far Cry. At least they got rid of the super bad shooting mechanics and terrible ragdolls from Far Cry 2, but this really just looks a bit too bland.
The voice acting seems to be excellent though, but that's just not good enough. I know it's a short vid, but these days if you want to show something, at least show something that stands out from the rest, and quite frankly, for me, this didn't show anything tantalizing.

Agree with Toxin. I feel the same. The first act in FC2 was good, but from the second act things became repetitive.

They'll definitely bring it to PC, don't be confused by Tooken, he's just saying the consoles are holding PCs back

Hopefully this will be better than Far Cry 2. FC1 was pretty good, but FC 2 and that other strange FCredator put me off a bit.

I agree with you, but not entirely.
When they make a game for PC, and port it to the consoles, you can't really argue that consoles are the reason we're "behind". Just look at BF3

Yes, but then again, how many games are made specifically for PC nowadays?
If I had to list them they would be...hmm....
BF3.
And Witcher 2. But that's about the only ones I can think about! Even one of my favourite games ever is a console port. BFBC2. :/
