I some how screwed up my on board sound so now i want to buy some usb heads sets. Ironically it is my previous headset that screwed my sound card up.

I have 2 I am looking at, so if someone knows if there are pro or cons on these 2 that can help me choose I would appreciate it.

Thanks

Personally I would go for the Logitech ones, a lot of people have them compared to the Razer ones so I reckon they must be good but also I quite like Logitech's stuff as they are very good in terms of quality

Go for the logitech, I have heard some not so cool stories about the megladons.

I have the G35's and they are epic.

The Logitech G35's are apparently more durable, of higher quality and can cancel more sound the megalodon
Although the Megalodon is more comfortable :p

I had the G35's and you would not be making a mistake by going with them :p

Since you are willing to spend so much money(>R1k) on headsets, why not look at Sennheiser, who are apparently top notch audio item producers. ie they specialize in sound hardware. I am capped atm, so I cant look for any of their headsets, sorry

Sennheiser and your generally more expensive brands don't make USB headsets. Not that I'm aware of anyways. But if I was OP and had the money I would probably spend it to get me a decent sound card and then a decent pair of headphones (most gaming headsets aren't that good compared to most dedicated brands) with an additional inline mic which I would purchase separately. USB just limits you so greatly, but if OP is deadset on that route he should definitely look at the 7H USB I linked to. Very versatile set.

Dude, I've got the megalodon's. It's a nice headset but if i got givenvthe choice again I would rathet go fot the G35's or kove's. Hope this helps
