Need For Speed - The Run

I love NFS games. I always play the latest ones, but Shift2 really disappointed me.
Hot Pursuit was awesome and the ultimate must have been Most Wanted.
The Run looks really good and I can't wait.
Racing games FTW!!!!

dont blame the franchise ! blame blackbox ! Criterion and slightly mad have taken the series forward more positively in the last 2 years compared to the idiot devs at blackbox

I have a strong feeling that Blackbox are going to redeem themselves with The Run, it is something new, creative and out of the "box"

Shift 2 Unleashed Has Drag racing and Drifting :)

Drag racing came with the new DLC :

Featured in the Speedhunters Pack are two new game modes; Drag and Standing Mile. Also included in the pack are 14 new cars, two of which are cars awarded to you when you beat the Drag or Standing Mile rivals, and two new career branches with nine new events to encourage some friendly Autolog competition with your friends.

True but didnt ea say they dumping blackbox for NFS sometime ago? I recall reading that somewhere. Criterion did good work i am aware... I still think there are to many NFS games to quick after each other... Maybe thats why i don't seem to enjoy them that much.. (i havent played the last release, Hot Pursiut). Maybe a break from the franchise will give gamers something good to look forward too.

This does look very promising, i have to agree. Maybe Black box will get back on the map with this... But if they screw it up they will just make gamers loose more faith in them.

Yeah, because if you think about it...the franchise will always stay the same and it's just the developers that might sometimes change. But the developers that make the game look good always succeed in impressing me.
 
No amount of graphical awesome ragardless of the game engine can replace good gameplay, let's see if they can deliver :D I really dig the Autolog feature in Shift 2, although I enjoyed Shift 1 more. The out of the car is a bit cheezy but it's a way to drive the story.... if there is one :) VROOOOOOM!
