I mean

the thing about competition is that you compete

you dont see athletes wanting to be on par or sub-par or equal to another athelete, they want to be better, thats the amibition.
There isnt anythign wrong with giving credit to a competitior but then dont go ahead and say we "both worth getting" cause then ur coming across as if the two are equal, which really sint true, infact they are dissing DICE in saying this, in no way are these two games equal on any level other than their a digital download or found on a DVD and both reside on a HDD or SSD. Please lets not bring DICE down to IW's level...please
 
And in other news: The CoD target market is blissfully going on with their lives and unaware of the silly in-fighting going on about Bf3 gaf gaf MW3.
 
It is up to PC gamers to sort this out... buy BF3 even if you are a pirate.... this is the one to get so that future games are better. PLEASE.
 
because some people can't afford BF3 AND MW3 they decide to get only one...and that is where decisions need to be made on which one you would personally prefer. So the ongoing war between the two games is probably never going to end because there will never be a shortage of fanboys :/ But don't be immature about it by saying one is better than the other and carry on about it...

What irritates me is that it's been weeks since anybody had a decent discussion in a thread about either. Not even BF3 is being discussed without people coming in and 'bf3>>>>mw3' all over the place. It's irritating. I want to discuss the game, not how it trumps another one.
 
I'm no big online fps player (play mostly gears) but last year I decided to get either BFBC2 or Black Ops. I made a thread on a local xbox site and asked which one I should get. Intersting comments came from there but in the end I took BC2 since it was only R150 at Musica. I really enjoyed it and about a month later I found Black Ops in the second hand bin in BT and decided what the hell...lets give it a go.

Now, what I can't understand is this whole BF vs COD, since the two games are vastly different! If you enjoy a slower, more tactical shooter with distructible enviroments and vehicles then BF is for you. If you enjoy just jumping in alone, fast action and small corridors then COD is for you. And lastly if you have the money, get both.

It all depends on what type of game you like more. As for me, I enjoy them both and some days I feel like BC and other days I enjoy jamming COD. I probarly won't havethe cash for both but will definately get both sooner or later.
