As much as I'd like to believe this the Halo 4 trailer did irreparable harm to my faith in MS to treat this IP the way its been threaded the last decade. The Haloverse is so big why did they have to go and pick up where H3 left off. How about a game set on Harvest or something?

Halo 3 and Halo: Reach were my favourite ones. I did miss Master Chief and I kinda felt sorry for the guy to go back into storage at the end of Halo 3. So me, personally I'm glad to see Master Chief back in action.

Agreed. Would have been nice to just drop the humans for a change and go pure Covenant on different setting and location.
