Effing clients ... basically.

I'd love to ignore Outlook, but the first week of the month is my reporting period, so I kinda have to pay attention to what goes through my inbox.

Correction.

It'll be weekend (for me at least) in approximately 5 hours.

Aside from that, I need to find a way to work for myself - I've had it up to here working with agencies and their clients. Simply because I'm not allowed to tell them to Fuck Off!!

I've been doing this shit for 5 years now - only difference now is that I'm technically in charge of my division - but I still can't tell them what I feel in (35% English) and (65% Swearing).

Hehe ... in my field I'm rated as experienced :p Unfortunately a lot of our clients are relatively new to web - their understanding is non-existent, and they're to stubborn to admit it. Just wait till you have to deal with an outoppie who wants to apply things in digital exactly the same way they do in print.

Part of the problem is that my company is only now starting to shift more attention to digital away from print (they've been doing digital work for a while, but it's never been a core focus) so the mentality is much the same.

Freelance here I come.

Freelance work is good but also a little hard to come by at times. :)

Yeah ... but I don't need a ton of clients ... 3 clients at relatively low rates will actually cover me. And I can be picky about them, which is awesome.

I also won't have to beg to get things out of our account managers, I won't have to beg for budget ... the list of plusses goes on and on.
