PC always most important lead platform - Epic Games

Irrelevant, ive never heard anyone say anything about gaming on a PC being dead... PC's have never been a console rival. You buy a console not because it is a better gaming platform, you buy it because of the combined overall device capability. I bought my PS3 because it fits under my TV quite nicely, looks decent, has the ability to play some awesome games and ontop of it all - doubles as a media center.

I don't think PC should be seen as dead. I own basically all the consoles on the market at the moment and a PC. I prefer to play some games on the PC and some on the console.

This press statement would have been more relevant back when the current gen consoles just came out, because that's the last time I heard people wondering if PC gaming was dead. A bit late to the party, Epic.

Wow...words, I just have none. :/ Why do useless statements like this even make it to the news, even remotely? Seriously!

I'm really still trying to figure it out! Is it so we can laugh about it (comic relief), or is it because we don't know it yet? It's either one of those two. :P

they said something simalar last year, do they seriusly think PC gamers are this dumb?

One week we're the "Master race" the next we're all a bunch of monkeys? Will you make up your minds already? Haters will hate!

:P

Why is Gears of War 2 and 3 not coming out for PC then!! I'll tell you why...... b'cause they make more money selling console games.

The units-sold to profit-gained ratio on PC is MUCH LESS than games sold for consoles, because pc games are cracked virtually the same day they get released. Currently you can only play cracked/downloaded PS3 games on an outdated console, as the latest version of Sony's PS3 firmware is secure and companies love secure.

if they dont find a way to decrease cracking ( make the games 50 % cheaper and put it on steam) in a few years we will only find free to play games on the pc
