Like I've said before, I don't blame the consoles. I blame the developers/publishers only focusing on consoles, and trying to make console games for the PC. There's absolutely nothing wrong with console games as long as they are on a console. The problem is they are making the same games for both.
I don't wan't to play the mole-popping action games now called RPG's (even though the game is determined by player reflexes rather than character skill), on my computer. I don't want to play something where I can only save at pre-determined locations. I don't want something that's designed to be finished in an afternoon, using no more than 3 dialogue options and 6 buttons. Those all work fine on consoles, it's a whole different approach. More relaxed/casual if you want. In fact I think they're screwing up console gaming as well by releasing the wrong types of games for that too. First person, Real-time- or Grand Strategy games and RPG's don't belong on a console, it's just wrong. Likewise cover shooters and interactive movies don't belong on a PC.
