Anyone know where to buy them or download them?

Also does anyone know if NFS Shift 1 & 2 is as good as NFS underground?
 
Probably go for underground/undercover then I prefer the gameplay on that game

Is NFS undercover purchasable somewhere cause I can't find it in the shops?

I've seen Undercover in EA Value form (the orange box R49 deals) in Musica and Incredible Connection. Seems to be out of stock on Take 2 and Kalahari.
Your other option would be, like Isengard said, to download it off Steam.

undercover is the worst need for speed game in history EVER ! I'll avoid it like a herpes infection !

best games made by blackbox was most wanted and hot pursuit 2 on the ps2 ! everything else blackbox made sucks period.

Never played undercover. IMO Most Wanted was the best "Underground" themed NFS game ever. Merenwenrago you could try the new Hot Pursuit, but remember there is no car modding whatsoever.

Shift 2 is fantastic btw. It gives you the sense of driving a high powered motor vehicle like no other game out there. Helmet cam ftw. :)

Does it have drifting and street racers in tunnels and on bridges like the old NFS?

Also loved modding the cars and using 6 geared cars :D

Shift 2 has drifting (not easy), it's got varied tracks, some in city environs others on regular tracks. Cars are moddable, but less so for visuals as the focus is on the car performance.

Just remember that it's not an arcade racer, the cars have realistic weight and physics so it's not an easy game.

Imo the old nfs games have exotic locales ie nfs 1 +2 +3 +4 +5

The underground series was an abortion ! essentially it was a cash in on the Fast and furious craze and thats why it got killed of !

if you want a good nfs game get anything from shift onwards (the underground series sucked alot of people are just too blind to realise it)

get shift, shift 2 or hot pursuit 2010 (you wont regret it)
 
Ok thanks I saw Shift in Incredible connection at reasonable price. I think it was R150, but rest are like R300 still better than Reggies which was R400. So when my salary comes I will pop into IC.

Dude just get Most Wanted and also travel back in time to the fist bunch of NFS games and play them.

The rest are all bullshit cookie-cutter-fad games.
 
the game is quite fun I am enjoying it and winning 1st place sometimes against high level people lol
