I find you can't skip the movie till you see the old mans face, and a slight lag when I start a game as it loads the textures on the tiles

Yeah I did an edit on the ini file that doesn't play the intro and goes straight to the menu. Then once in game, it lags and eventually crashes.
 
So the dead island bug has bitten and a few friends here are getting 2x4 packs :D Hope to see you guys play it and lets coop this bitch.

38 dollah per game is definitely cheaper than the $50 single price. Or we could just have loads of fun and purchase the Windows 7 upgrade family pack for the same price:p

I'm having problems with Steam again :(.

I tried downloading Team Fortress 2 the other day but Steam did something it hasn't done before. It brought up a small window saying "validating Steam files" with TF2 at the bottom. Now it says it's 100% complete but it still says 0/1 complete... Now I went to my dl section and I see that I can't pause or resume the d/l. How do I get rid of this message?

Not sure if I am thinking of the same thing here, but do you maybe have some sort of Steam filter running in the background? This could prevent downloads from pausing/proceeding. If not maybe try copying the TF2 folder out, then deleting the game files in Steam and replacing it?

Great. Can't wait, in the mean-time we should feast our eyes on the trailers and have lengthy discussions on Teamspeak around what we expect to find in the game :P

Steamwatch set to just the wage server maybe? its messed me around before if I forget to turn it off
 
Anyone ever had the insall being stuck at Creating Local game cache files?

I have deleted my .blob file 3 times already and it keeps getting stuck also changed my location 10 times and it just keep failing.

Trying to install fallout new vegas, started to happen after I got a message steam servers are to busy to handle your request.
