Is anyone else excited for this?

This is for all you Anime fans out there: Is anyone excited for Dragon Ball z Ultimate Tenkaichi? Now I know the current generation DBZ games have all been average to bad, ( Burst Limit, Raging Blast ) but DBZ:UT looks kinda cool. So what are your thoughts?

Not very excited but I enjoy playing the games on emulators since I don't have the consoles

Just check it out on Youtube. It looks really badass (even the cover). If this game gets delayed/cancelled I think I will have to kill myself

lol the dbz games this gen have disappointed but if the reviews are good, even remotely i wont be able to resist it
favorite anime fighter this gen has to be naruto though!

I actually haven't played any Naruto games on the current gen consoles. I think it's time to find one :)

I think its going to bad. Ive just noticed while watching on youtube, there are too many QTEs. Not enough free fighting. You hit your opponent a few times, do the on-screen command, watch your character hit your opponent, rinse, wash, repeat.

The Naruto games aren't bad (if you are a fan, of course), I have Rise of a Ninja and the Broken Bond I loved running around in Konoha. Then again, a lot of people hated it. You can find them pretty cheap these days.

I've had my fun with Dragonball Z Budokai 1-3. Couldn't really get into Tenkaichi.

I'm pretty much over it. DVB-T :/

Which one of the two games did you like more?

I've just never felt like the current gen DBZ games have given me anything special. Character and brand recognition only goes so far but at the end of the day I actually want a fun gaming experience, but a average or slightly above average at best experience.

I loved the Television series. I can remember I played a Dragonball Z game on my computer... I think it was developed on the Quake 3 engine. There aren't any good Dragonball Z games for the computer, which is a shame. I would really like to play a decent Dragonball Z game but I do not own a console.

There is a korean Massive Multiplayer Online game called Dragonball : Online but at the moment it is only for Koreans and I think a Taiwanese version has been released too. :)

Found it! Dragonball Z : Bid for power. It is developed on the Quake 3 engine.

Do not expect too much but at the time is was nice. :)

Bid for Power was very popular during the Quake 3 heydays. I never found it nice, but it was at every internet cafe and people really poured a lot of time on it.

On the current Dragonball Z games, I'm just not sure. The story has been done to death and the characters before will just come back again. It'll be one giant retread and there's only going to be a few minor tweaks with the gameplay and stuff. If you look at the sheer volume of DBZ games out there, it's just a bit overkill.
