BATTLEFIELD 3: JETS!!! Caspian Border Gameplay!!!

Jets are the reason why I never really got into BF2 and its derivatives. I hate jets and they ruined the game for me. On the one hand there were the long ques and on the other you could not move without being bombed.

(Joystick sales are definitely going up. My poor X3DPro is broken, so I'll be looking at getting a new one).

@ Visi's comment regarding jets ruining the game for you, thats a bit overkill don't you think? I mean, the way MP is going to be, you can just completely skip servers with the big maps and you'll still have an epic time. And besides, did you see how much anti-air there is? Flying a jet is going to be difficult with nearly half the armor in the map trying to shoot you down.
 
Jeeeeeetttttssss, bought my joystick out the cupboard to make sure all in one piece.
Seriously. Cannot. Wait. Anymore. Once the carnage settles, super keen for stunt servers like good ol days of BF2.

I would be happy if the xbox controllers work with the aircraft on the pc version, I had endless problems with BC2, ended up flying heli with a keyboard and mouse, luckily I could lower the dpi on the fly which made it less twitchy

I've been flying the choppers in BC2 with keyboard and mouse since the beginning since it came out. It's really not that bad.
 
There's jets in BF3! First I've heard of that, that's friggin awesome. Every time I see one of these clips it just gets me more and more excited for release time

Yea same with me, It took a little getting used to and a few changes on the X/Y axis but it's all good in the end.

Was watching the vid in 720p my brother walked past and asked "WTF? What Action film is this??"

Hahaha, nice. It does look pretty damn awesome like that! I almost wet myself when I saw that Havoc flying over those okes shooting at them. I'm super excited to see what the choppers can do in this game!
 
FYI been reading up on jets with K+B or Joystick

you actually dont need joysticks remeber these jets are not flight simulators, i can bet they will be K+B friendly just like BF2 and 90% of the players used that combo instead of a joytick, K+B will work great, i'd rather test the jets out in our private SS clan server and see how they feel before buying a joystick, this is not a flight simulator :)

im gonna get very annoyed when some dude takes the jet and crashes 2 sec later when some1 could had way more of an impact 9excuse the pun) in the air, much the same when dudes took heli's in BC2 and crashed them in record time and that was nogal "consolized" .....

Like last night....I wait at the helipad for like 3 minutes, with noone in sight. Some douchebag spawn on me, jumps in, flies away without me and crashes into a tree 200m away. I had no words.
