Second hand gaming rig

Hi Please pm me I have a mobo, Ram CPU and Gfx card for sale you just need Hdd power supply and Chassis

Trying all the options there dude.

Maybe what you should do is buy a decent PC without a graphics card, then see if anyone's upgrading their graphics card to the latest and greatest, and wants to sell their old one to you. For gaming rigs, that'll probably be one of the most expensive parts, and you might get a high-end card that's a little bit dated but still good for cheap. People are upgrading all the time, probably especially now that things like BF3 are looking to push the limits.

But you have to build it yourself....and no windows...
but it's brand new...

Dude I wouldn't go for that either. Remember a lot of time people are selling there computers to do an upgrade for themselves and what I have found is that people who advertise on gumtree usually ask way too much. Check around with these guys here and see what they are selling, I have seen some decent stuff, otherwise go new and have that customized and peace of mind with the warranty

Rather buy new, I'm sure you can get a decent rig within your budget.
Just shop around and ask advice, IMHO I won't buy secondhand.

i would also think, if you don't need a screen; then with that budget you might able to buy a decent new rig

Hi Simon,

I did some shopping around this weekend, my wife has bumped my nudget to R6500.00 so at least I have a wider range to look at but still nothing set in stone. I am also in neg with R4C3 he has some second hand stuff I might buy from him

Ah thats nice of her. Much respect to the ladies who bump up pc/gaming budgets :)
Just remember to spend the bulk of your cash on cpu and gpu otherwise it will be constant upgrades and that gets pricey down the line.

Ja for sure thats what I have also been thinking, would I be putting a lot of confideration to the mother board as well as the hard drive would it make a huge difference if I went for a 500gb vs 1tb
