So, I just recently bought a new 3D LED TV, and I am more impressed than I expected I would be!
I went for the LG Cinema 3D with passive glasses, and I must say that it is amazing!

I dislike 3D in Nu Metro and Ster Kinekor cinemas, as there is plenty of crosstalk and flickering.
My TV uses the same cheap passive glasses you get in the cinema, but the difference is extreme.

I am so happy I didnt buy a TV with active glasses! :)

Do you any of you have te same TV?

Have you seen a 3DTV with active shutter glasses? Only active glasses can provide you with a HD 3D experience, I say that because when useing passive it effectively halves the resolution, so when watching 1080p you only get 540 lines per eye, whereas with active you get 1080 lines per eye.

Sadly, my eyes seem to disagree with 3D glasses/tvs completely.

Tried out several TVs at Kloppers, one being a R30k Samsung and while it was much better than in the cinemas, I still got kinda dizzy. Still want to try it out with games though!!

I feel your pain, firstly, I feel like an idiot wearing 3D glasses over my glasses, then I strain my eyes unintentionally because the one eye is trying harder than the other to focus. My eyes feel really tired and strained afterwards, I occasionally have headaches as well.

I thought maybe glasses free 3D would be better, so I checked out my brother's 3DS, it went a bit better, I found the 3D effects easier on the eyes although you have to be at the correct angle, but after 5 minutes I had a massive headache which lasted for the next hour.

Think I'm just a 2D person trying to get by in a 3D world :(
