And got the last quote in another 8k one. But my brother is taking the car to one of his friends who will take a look and we might get a better quote. Especially after my brother inspected the rear bumper they are all so eager to replace (the 16k one also wanted to replace the whole tail light unit even tho it doesnt even have a mark on it as well as the petrol flap - that petrol flap alone will cost R1.5k - total madness!), well the rear bumper just needs some paint work, otherwise its fine! So he will have his friend (aka ppl they send a lot of the car body parts that they work on for repairs to) take a look and we will see what they can quote us.

Can't you just find a similar car and walk away with its bumper in your handbag?
 
czc - if I could I would trust me. Unfortunately even though I carry a largish bag around a bumper will juuuuuuuuuuust not fit. But that 2nd quote just drove me nuts that is almost 1/2 of what the car costed me!
