My Need For Speed Most Wanted won't work!

Whenever I try and run it, it doesn't work! Some message keeps coming up (I'll actually read it next time and tell you what it says). Here are my specs:
Windows XP Professional SP2
Intel Pentium dual [email protected]
Nvidia GeForce 7100
1 gig RAM
and I have Direct x9. Why won't it work and how can I fix this?
 
Kinda hard without knowing the error message. I would suggest posting the error before anyone can actually help.

The pc spec might be the problem, a geforce 7100 is more like a geforce 4.

most wanted will even run on a geforce fx which is worse so the gfx card is not the problem ! patch the game to 1.2 or 1.3
 
Maybe he has a few .dll files missing. Your pc should run the game. We cannot help you if you do not provide us with an error message. :confused:

Yeah, I think Most Wanted should run with those specs. It's possible that there's a driver incompatibility or maybe Most Wanted has to be patched. Without the error message though, we're basically shooting blind. Make sure that when you get the message, to post as much details about it. If there's an advanced text box, copy and paste it.

Well have you tried reinstalling the game from scratch?
 
Lol I'm not sure. I just found it lying around at home in a CD packet and the code was written on the back. I think it was bought at that place Cybermedia.
