You can become a vampire in Skyrim

Yeah, but vampirism was broken in Oblivion. You were supposed to go to the next state after every day, but instead you would go to the next state every time you rested. Even if it was only for an hour.
 
Being a super WarriorThiefMage Grandmaster Vampire was the best part gogo creature of the night.
 
are you guys going to get the PC or Console version? I dont think my current PC setup will handle it or BF3 for that matter

Thats a good point, but honestly I havnt had the chance to try out any mods in oblivion simply because I never got around to finishing all the things to do(without the mods) in the main/sideline stories. With all the sneak peaks into how awesome skyrim is, do you think that the mods argument holds?

Was just about to say that as well. Not moving around during the day time was an ultimate pain in the...uh...neck. Spose there needed to be a trade off for the increased stats etc.

Sigh...James got to my neck joke first....

One of the biggest disappointments for me in Oblivion was being a vampire. Thought sweet, this should be pretty cool. Became a vampire, soon found out how shit it was, then had to find the cure. There was even a bug that if you finish the main quest before you found the cure you could never complete the cure quest.
