Same here. GF and I are moving in together sometime this month, but renting for the moment. But we are looking to buy a place, and this new apartment is basically a "Base of Operations" for us to go around and look at places.

@Oom Voicy - Haaaaaaaaaaai - Ive reached that irritating part of no weightloss the last 2 months :( But Ive lost cm's
I just prefer to go after work, Helps me get rid of some of the work stress.

@Sycokid - morning madman - grats and goodluck with that

@czc - haaaaaaaaaai

Mornin' all

Yea buying a place is hella expensive, and a big mission, but at least then you get to pay off your own bond instead of someone else's

Its fooken expensive.

Hey but atleast we won't be paying someone elses bond :p

Morning everyone!

@ Syco & Avenged:

All I can say is good luck, it's a huge life changing event, you have to start working on a budget no more "free time" & you're going to have some fights.

Don't get me wrong now, moving in with my girlfriend was the best thing I've ever done, but just be prepared to make some changes. ;)

Yeah, just make sure you have enough cash saved for a deposit and Transfer fees and Bond Registration fees.

Where abouts are you looking Syco? If you look out west a bit, there's still nice areas that are not too far away from everything, but the prices are much cheaper than closer to town. And Joburg seems to be expending in that direction. I got a full on 4 bedroom house for under R1Mil in Strubens Valley

You might not have to pay someone else's bond, but you have to make a decision on what's more important.

If you buy a place it's going to be much more expensive than to rent a place.

At the end of the day, IMHO rather rent for a year or 2 save some cash buy new furniture and still enjoy your life.

Once your settled in that department, then you can think of buying.

That's what we decided to do.

Just my 2c.

Well I'm definitely in for taking those steps and feeling pretty excited!! I just prefer not to live on my own from a point that I hit depro stage quite quickly if I'm on my own for too long...

Yup, there will be a lot of changes. I have made provisions for said changes.

Also, getting relationship advice from the real Fabio? How can you go wrong?
(I'm still convinced that you are the REAL Fabio. You will have to prove me wrong).
