Deus Ex: Human Revolution boss battles were outsourced

Thanks G.I.R.P... Next time take a look at how Kojima does boss battles in Metal Gear Solid. Those are boss battles done right, i.e. more than one way to tackle them.

I hated how my stealth character was forced into a combat role for every boss battle, I simply wasn't equipped for that type of scenario.

For shame.
 
Lulz, thank goodness I tank things first before going alternative routes in replays. But at least I've got a forewarning since I'm still waiting for rAge to come and go before I can invest in the game XD
 
I would still place the blame on the main developer because the game is ultimately their responsibility. Did they put the boss battles in on the day before shipping? Would it have been impossible to implements some additional ways of facing the bosses? It was lazy quality control on a game that still tops as the best game of the year so far for me.
 
Do the boss battles take away from the game at all?
Because im really looking forward to playing this game, and i really don't want it to be a huge disappointment!

You don't have to worry there, the game truly is brilliant; the boss battles mostly don't seem to fit with the rest of the game, that's all. It's playable, but more awkward and clunky than anything else.

Just bring as many grenades and mines as you can carry and you'll shorten the boss fight to under 5 seconds or so. With the awkward boss-fight done, you can now get back to playing the pure awesomness of the rest of
