XBOX360: Purchased XBL content remains in trial mode...help

Hey guys.

So I've only recently repurchased an xbox after about 2 years on the ps3 console. (ps3 is still around too, though)

Anyway, I recovered my gamer profile and immediately set off to redownload some of the xbl content I purchased all that time ago.

But nothing works as "full games" and some dont register as games at all. ("Unknown Content" on console and xbox.com)

I mailed xbox and they gave me this stupid 5 step process which ended up being useless.
(Delete content, delete profile, clear cache, recover profile and redownload content).

Didnt work.

Then I saw the Licence Transfer thing and did that also. Confirmed successful. Still, no luck.

All and all I've redownloaded the content 3 times. My internet cap is not happy and neither am I...lol...

I did migrate my account though but not sure if moneygrubbing M$ will hold it against me in this way :p

Anyone know how to get this to work?

Well, you can only do the licence transfer once every 12 months. So that's been done.

As far as redownloading the content goes, my cap has taken a big enough knock i think already, seeing that i've wasted three download sessions on it already. As far as activating the "full game" patch, yep, done that to death already.

Some of the users here have some feedback also.

One of the big gotchas that Microsoft said when migrating accounts (I'm assuming you've migrated to SA) was that you'd need to redownload all your marketplace content before migrating. (hit up the migration faq as a reference: Account Migration FAQ)

Its a bummer, but it looks like that's what's happened here. :(
 
Yup. The problem you have is that you should have downloaded all your content before migrating your account. I remember when I migrated last year that I lost all the content that wasn't backed up.
