No new Unreal Tournament title planned

This is kinda sad...Seeing as there are no fps shooters that offer the same fast pace online and lan gaming :(
It would have been a huge success if they ever did bring a new UT to the game floor...Its a segment in the gaming marketplace that is viod at the moment.

Agreed. Unreal is still one of my favourite FPS series. Faster than COD. I miss playing it and we really need a new one.
 
UT 3 was probably the best UT game ever. Weapon balance, fixed. Maps were well tuned. And movement was improved drastically. The problem was, the industry had moved on. UT franchise was seen as an 'old school' title and all the cool kids wanted to play with the new kid on the block; COD:MW.

UT probably had the worst release date, just a few days after COD:MW.
 
I did not like ut3. found the charaters clunky. Was not as fast paced as 2004. To me 2004 was perfect.
 
Epic only releases unreal tournament titles with each successive engine they've developed except for ut 2004 which ran on a vastly improved ue 2.5 engine im sure with unreal engine 4 they'll release a new UT title

PS Tarryn Unreal tournament III came out in 2007 and not 2009.
