I picked up Night-Wing 01 yesterday.
I haven't had time to read it yet, but the art looks pretty good.

Did any of you guys pick up anything new?

How was Nightwing? Very curious to know, was on my initial list of stuff to subscribe to, but went with All Star Western instead.
Going to pick up my Batman and All Star Western (hopefully) on the weekend, skipped going on the weekend.

LOL I haven't actually read it yet :o
(I'll get to it tonight and let you know my thoughts soon after)

I did manage to read through Batman 01 and Aquaman 01, both of which were brilliant!

Alright!

Yeah Batman 01 was awesome, Greg Capullo is an amazing artist. Also, check out All Star Western. Jonah Hex + Gotham = EPIC. Jimmy Palmiotti and the guys did an awesome job.

The Boys (just finished Herogasm. I love this series!)
The Dark Knight Returns (epic Batman story)

Jeez that's a lot. Maybe try speaking to a comic shop, I am sure they can bring it in cheaper for you.
 
my Action comics #1, Detective Comics #1 and Green Lantern #1 are waiting for me in Cape town. mate got them for me at the Readers Den in Cape town. just finished reading Green Lantern Rebirth. so awesome.
 
I saw mad comics yesterday in Smallville Comics in alberton. Didnt see the price though.

They part of DC so most comics shops should get it.
 
Wasnt really interested in it before but was talked into Checking out the new Wonder Woman #1 its actually pretty cool, modern day Greek mythology Nice!
 
yeah, i cant wait to get my hands on them. im a huuuuuuge green lantern fan. cant wait to see what direction they take it. those comics gona go in a safe place though, hopefully worth something someday heheheh
 
I recently started reading Avengers Academy- sure its aimed at the teen to young adult market but the writing reminds me of the late 90's of X-men when Scott Lobdell and Fabian Nicieza were writing. Also, Hank Pym, one of my favourite Avengers is in it and being saddened by the ending of the Mighty Avengers series, I'm glad to see his character continue in this title.
