I was actually one of the few (you'll see this happening a lot with me) who enjoyed it. Look, it was nowhere near as deep or immersive as Gothic 1 and 2 were but it was by no means a
bad game. JoWood forced Piranha Bytes to rush the Hell out of that release which was a shame, but it still pulled through and was a much more worthy member of the IP than that godawful Gothic 4: ArcaniA. I flat-out
REFUSED to support what JoWood did to that IP, which included the expansion to Gothic 3, Forgotten Gods.
Even when Steam had the collection on special a while back, I bought the Gothic Universe pack (Gothic 1, 2 and 3) for myself and a few of my friends on Steam who liked/were curious about the IP. I refuse to contribute a cent towards the bastardisation that was Gothic 4.
