IWNet “didn’t achieve what we wanted it to achieve” admits Infinity Ward

so first alienate almost everyone then crawl back for forgiveness?

throw in free MP maps then we got a deal :)

Yeah even if we messed up your still going to pay for it all hahahaahahahha.

Sigh man if they dit not alienate me so much in the beginning I might still have some good things to say about those games.

Fixed, i like peanuts and apples! can't wait for the grocery store to open.

You're totally missing my point, though. The only reason they're bringing back things like this is because they know they're sweating their assess off over BF3. If BF3 wasn't on the horizon, you could bet your ass there wouldn't have been any mention things like this at all.

What's even more ironic is that IW is trying to win customers over by saying 'hey look we're bringing back features that shouldn't have been removed in the first place', while if Activision simply priced their productive competitively, it would do them so much more good.

My thoughts exactly

Lulz. I think inActivision has realised some of the mistakes they made since they didn't have such tough competition to thwart their COD titles off the rack. Seems like karma is biting them in the ass real hard

Great to see things are getting back on track with Activision/Infinity Ward and they're finally waking up and smelling the coffee :D ...IWNet really wasn't the best thing around when MW2 was out :P

At least Servers are back now, removing them in the first place was just stupid.
Maybe Cod is on its way back to its roots(cod4) with awesome comunity/competitvie friendly games.

IWNet was horrid, even on PC. I really really liked MW2 it was different from CoD4, they went a bit heavy on the killstreak perks but overall it was alot of fun. The only reason I stopped jamming is because of that shitty IWNet service.

If they were to patch it for dedicated server's I would gladly play it today. And no! Black Ops is not the answer :)
