Dickhead in a BMW

As some of you know, I commute by bike to and from work. This allows me to lane split and thus get to and from work quicker. And before anyone gets ideas, lane splitting is legal.

Last night on my way home, between Midrand and Pretoria this knob in a 3 series BMW (PVR421GP) sees me coming and blocks me on the left. I raise a hand with no rude gestures to say wtf? He sees this and stays on the line preventing me from passing. He is so far to the left, I pass him on the right. This wanker then proceeds to mock swerve into me while I'm passing him! I was like WTF dude? If he had caused me to fall or something, what the hell would he have done. I mean seriously, how much of an asshole could you be to firstly block a bike for no reason other than being spiteful and then try to cause me to make an accident?

If you see this moron, (PVR421GP), please send him my regards.
 
Sad to see this still going on. Many years ago a friend and I travelled to work and back on his bike and this shit happened almost every other day. Trucks and fancy car idiots were the main culprits, maybe it's small dick syndrome, gotta be the tough guy in the fancy car for lols.

Good that you came out of it ok though man ...... wcyd except catch them one day and beat them senseless hey.

You'd be surprised at how many cagers are genuinely affronted by the fact that motorcyclists can bypass the traffic.
 
A while back I thought of starting "BikeThink", the opposite initiative of ThinkBike.

Where ThinkBike says cars should look out for bikes when driving, BikeThink says if you are a biker, cutting between cars, you are putting your own life in danger, so you should be the one looking out more. Lots of what bikers do in the mornings is against the law, and if I knick you, you die and I sit with a guilty conscience...

I myself love bikes, but there are those out there who make the cars hate bikers.

I dropped the BikeThink thing because bikers aren't really the kind of guys you want to piss off :)

I had a Beamer smash into me because he was driving like a bonehead, and when I got out the car he waited until I was at his window before speeding off. Bastard got off scot free and I had to fork out a ridiculous amount of excess.
 
I'm not generalizing here, but as the old story goes, guys in Beemers tend to be dicks.
I do track racing, quartermile and organized street racing. (LEGAL)

I have video accounts of M3 and M5 drivers that want to slog it out after losing races to "inferior" cars, Got videos while driving on the highway of exactly this Densweep, Beemer drivers mock swerving as you pass, or cutting you off, riding so far up my boot that I can't even see the Badge etc etc. Much more than in any other brand of car, true story.

ON a bike you could get seriously hurt much quicker though. FUCKING assholes.

Guys in 3 series BMW's. Usually a 318i. Nothing says 'I've fcking arrived' like an entry level beemer :P

I own a bmw and im not a dick on the road ;)
 
Damn that irritates me. I don't ride a bike, but I move out of the way when I see them coming. I figure if you trade the comfort of a car for the convenience of a bike, and if you get upset that you can't bypass traffic like bikers can, then you should get a bike
 
U should know guys in beemers are assholes.. Just notice the next u see a BMW 530 d that if u turn the letters around.. It spells pøe$ :D

Lets not start on Gti or Sti drivers. Or what about A3 / A4 drivers. Or how about Land Rovers, they just bully their way around.

Come on man, thats dumb. Every brand of car from an Uno to a Beemer has dicks in it. There really is no specific brand. :p

That's totally true. It's just the in joke as far as cars go. It's the same as all guys who drive sport cars are compensating for something and all woman who drive 4x4's are trophy wives.
 
I won't lie it doesn't just extend to bikers.. I drive a car and everyday I daydream fantasizing about some SAW scene with all the fancy car drivers just because they MOSTLY drive like they own the road..
 
Nah BMW drivers take the cake. Yes I'm generalising but hell, if there's people on the road who disrespect rules then it's BMW drivers. I've always wondered why that is.

Maybe certain kind of people generally buy BMW's? Sorry Dohc-WP but if it weren't for BMW and taxi drivers then the travel to work and back would have been a lot less stressful.
