Lets not start on Gti or Sti drivers. Or what about A3 / A4 drivers. Or how about Land Rovers, they just bully their way around.
Come on man, thats dumb. Every brand of car from an Uno to a Beemer has dicks in it. There really is no specific brand.
True grimmy, but me being in the racing world, I can honestly say that even where sportsmanship should reign supreme, there is an enter BMW club, litterally known as the dick squad. every single one of them is a pows. once they rock up most of the ppl tend to leave. I've had more shit with BMW drivers on the road and track than any other brand COMBINED. Varsity laaities with Velocities a close second

That's a horrible story DenSweep. Some people seem to have a low level of intelligence and don't respect other's lives. So many things could have gone wrong in that scenario. I also travel between Midrand and Centurion each day (I assume you were on the highway?) and the stuff I see people doing is terrifying.
A lot of SA drivers seem to have the worst habits or simply cannot think beyond their own little cocoon when driving.
I do my best to look out for bikers, always checking my mirrors before changing lanes, and there are a lot of bikers that ride sensibly.
Unfortunately there are guys on bikes that also fuck around; the number of times some guy on a fast bike zips past me, weaving in and out of traffic, without me having been aware of them until they blast past.
It's difficult for drivers to spot a motorcyclist when they weave in and out of cars and pull out and accelerate really quickly, coming up in a driver's blind spot.
There's got to be responsibility on both sides.
I almost feel like suggesting you smash off the wing mirrors of that beemer if you ever see it again, but it will only breed further animosity towards bikers from that asshole, and might end up costing someone their life if he tries to be even more of a dick in future.

well my cousin told me about a nice thing his friend bikers do, they use their helmet to smash the window of the idiot driver ... so when you reach your boiling point thats an option

You guys seriously take to much shit.
Although it is mostly bmw drivers, you also get the odd twat in a Land drover or x5, or in my case a Merc ML 63.
Was on my way to Esquire and just before the samrand off ramp this cunt in his ml cuts right across all 4 lanes, almost hits me and then has the nerve to flip me off, anyway as you get off the highway the traffic lights at the bottom of the road are out and have been out forever, unlucky for him there was a huge truck turning so he had no where to go. I got out the car walked up to his window and told him what a thick fuck he was. He didn't say one word.
Moral of the story don't be a dick while driving. Or you might just run into someone like me, I am more than willing to kick the shit out of you if you piss me off
Oh and if you have some dick in a BMW sitting on you're ass even when there is no where for you to go, I suggest keeping empty beer bottles in the car, just chuck one out the window and see what he does when that bottle smashes into his windshield or onto his bonnet.

Den i feel for you man i have seen this more than once, for some odd reason people get annoyed/upset/angry that whilst they sit in traffic your cruising home. I used to ride a bike but not anymore, my father rides a bike and he too runs into them from time to time. I think the main problem on our roads is an ego thing, it really is, the woman tend not to do stuiped things on PURPOSE it just happens
I must say off ALL cars i have come across on the road BMW drivers have a major malfunction, i'll put GTi drivers at number 2 and then Mini cooper fags at number 3. When i drive in my car and see a dude coming on a bike in the middle of the lane, i give him abit of space and you know what 99% of the time the biker acknowledges it and puts his hand or thumbs up saying thanks, on our roads you do need to be brave to drive a bike. As joker says its true, people are "big" in their cars, once your approach them then things change though i would not go so far as to assault the dude can have the last laugh and lay assault charges, i'd rather be the bigger man and walk away because karma is indeed a bitch and it WILL find you.

Well you were there & can judge it best, but there is an alternative interpretation: Cars drivers aren't very situationally aware & often barely awake. If the BMW driver notices you very late & reacts very slowly then he'd behave exactly as you described: First keep blocking then swerve left.
Frankly I'm very scared of running over bikers & pedestrians so I try to give them *lots* of room. I doubt I'm popular with other car drivers though...those I face with a show-no-mercy attitude.
BMW drivers I can deal with...its the cars with high seating positions & short bonnets that get to me (4x4s & panel van style vehicles). Because they can *see* so much of the road their perception of safe following distance is completely fubar.

He was fully aware of me, because i saw him look in his rear view mirror. he intentionally blocked me.
i swear though, i'm going to start carrying a fucking baton on each side of the bike for wankers like this. I really want to know what he was trying to achieve by mock swerving. Had I crashed or fallen, irrespective of what did or didn't earlier, he would be guilt and be liable for jail time. Is that really worth it?
