No Heavy Rain sequel: Quantic Dream is “not in this business to make money”

I hope they at least consider releasing it for PC. This game and Alan Wake are the two games that I've always wanted to play, but don't want to buy a console just to play it.

Sad though i sequeal would be great... but then again he did say they want to have new and more creative games maybe they'd surprise us with an all new jaw breaking game...

And if you want to play both those, you'll need to buy an xbox AND a ps3

EDIT: I don't know if they can really release Heavy Rain for PC without major rework though because the game was all quick-time events and made heavy use of the ps3 sixaxis controller, it's not just about pressing the right buttons, it used the motion sensing too

Amazing first they gripe about the 2nd hand market making them lose millions in possible revenue, then suddenly this revelation? Is someone holding a gun against his head as this was said? Oh well...

But ya, pity it will never be a viable PC release. And also a pity it will not see a sequel. But hey, let's give them about 2 months then they might suddenly have another fit of MPD/PMS and decide to release a sequel and say that Piracy/2nd hand market/Aliens are ruining the world XD

Yup, was thinking the same thing. Somehow you steal my posts from my brain then put them here. Stop that.

Ja, I strongly agree. I don't see how Heavy Rain would work on a PC, because of the Sixaxis motion controls. I finished the game this week and I am busy with my second play-through, I'd imagine to have a port to the PC won't be difficult. However, having a GOOD port that WORKS WELL will be another story.
