See this thread if the Origin Client is trying to download again, there is a method of renaming the previously downloaded folder to the new one to make the download stop. Some clever EA monkey probably changed the folder name on the template server.

Nope, DX10 and 11 only. Need at least Vista to run.

Just got an email from EA SA to say the Open Beta is open , no key yet, but now it's to late. DL is over 50% at home.

The worst thing in the world just happened to me... So after 2 days of constant downloading my laptop decided that on 92% Itz a gud idea to get a download error and start again from scratch.... :'(

Sorry guys but how does the the WAGE ftp download work? Is it okay to download it from there or should I download via Origin? I don't wanna waste 4gigs of bandwidth...

Fred, I am downloading of WAGE's server with a program called Download Accelerator Plus (watch the extra crap that it installs!!!). Tonight at home I will start a quick download on Origin and stop it after a minute. Apparently Origin creates a download folder "somewhere" (to be determined later tonight or someone might elaborate). Extract the RAR file that you downloaded from WAGE into this folder. (WinRAR can be downloaded from RARlabs.com or Google "WinRAR Download").
According to those who have done it, Origin will see the extracted files on resumption of the download and say "Completed".
I still have another 12 hours plus left on the download as it stands currently.

Is that under "My Documents\EA\Origin" or under "Program Files\Ea\Origin" or there abouts (just thumb sucking, I do not have an Origin installation in front of me).
IOW, what is the program location? My Gaming PC is setup with my normal directories spread across 5 partitions.

c:\program files (x86)\origin games\ or c:\program files\origin games\ if you have a standard install

Good move all mine are on "D" just set it in "Settings" and "Select where you want to install your games"
