iGame Battlefield 3 Beta Discussion Thread

Het so bietjie op my lappy gespeel en hardloop nice. Nie eers n ordentlike laptop nie.....

Waar stel mens detail settings?
 
Sand in my eyes from the beta. Going to hack into a server running Caspian border, will give details on how to skip the line waiting for the Jets to spawn.
 
If your getting server disconnect like I was turn off UPnP on your router
So I noticed a few people are having issues with Disconnects in BF3
I was too - I'd tried a lot of different things, the standard stuff largely without success, but I figured I'd try and collate all of the things I've seen people say they've made progress with;

Set BF3 to run as admin
Set Browser that you run Battlelog from to run as admin
Disable Firewall
Uninstall/turn off Anti-virus and malware protection stuff
Mess with the Host file in system32/drivers/etc
Disable UPnP on your router
Uninstall & Reinstall BF3, and ensure installation files are set to be kept
Install BF3 to its default directory
Disable the Origin Overlay

There are a lot of reports that people are having varying degrees of success with one or more of those options.
The one that worked for me was to disable UPnP on my router.
I've had one disconnect since I did that, and that was after about 45 minutes and 3 or 4 full rounds of play.

Had a great few rounds tonight, saw a lot of familar faces, shot some of them, got shot by others

lol het ook daarmee gesukkel met al die campers.

Hulle moet die squad system reg maak mens moet kan kies want 'n fail squad werk nie so lekker nie...
 
Jy vertel my, ek het een ou gehad wat gisteraand heeltyd stil sit TUSSEN die enemy, so elke keer as jy spawn dan turkey shoot hulle jou
 
I dont think its just campers thou , by now I know the filter spots on the maps , and people are like sheep they always go the same route or think the route someone else took is better , I now found a few great perch spots that get me about 5 or 6 kills before anyone notices where I am ....Short burst fire got to love it . Plus I can see the urgency or panic in who ever i shoot with everything going on they just freak , and instead of finding cover they try to find the shooter this always gets em killed .
Yes cover works , So best tip move from cover to cover if you want to stay alive , running around the Battlefield is just not smart
People should stop being in such a hurry to level up. No I am not a camper lol if I was I would have a braai and would invite all of you
