Set your AA down and install the Beta or Hotfix Drivers depending on the type of GFX card you have, it should clear right up, or, wat 6 - 8 hours and drink plenty of fluids

Heck, I'll be glad to upgrade from my stable 384K to a less stable 1Mb just for that extra bit of speed. But OpenWeb seems pretty stable most of the time.

played Caspian border last night Gents
its the real BF3 experience! its uber awesome
that tanks feel more fluid and refined, flew jets 3 times and helicopter 4 times

Two things:

Your prob gonna need to get a joystick for jets, often you can turn tighter but the dam mouse only gives you so much room helicopters, KB + mouse is perfect! Be warned, helicopter controls far more advanced now, nothing like BC2's

The maps does indeed chow resources, whats really annoying is the rendering of the terrain, its often delayed...
 
I don't know if the Retail game wil feature Draw Distance Settings like BF2, but that would probably solve the Terrain Rendering in strangely

How are the helicopter controls more advanced now? Are the helicopters at least a bit more 'responsive' now, if you can get the hang of the more advanced controls?

Sadly no beta for me, so a bit more detail would be appreciated :)

I went to battlelog and it said BF3 not installed and I clicked install and it wiped all the files because Origin wasn't started.

I HATE YOU ORIGIN!!!
 
I got it from wage... Then copied it to the origin games folder... Installed first time.

On another note... Caspian border servers were shut down today.... Didn't get a single game done :/

So downloading the game from wage at a friend...:) Itz already 21% just after half an hour..:P So will hopefully jol with u guys tonight..:D Excited!!:)

There's a fix for this. Go into your hosts file (C:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts) and open it with notepad. Add a # in front of all EA addresses and it should sort it.

Thanks dude! Your support is better than EA's :) It works!

Wow! It's a lot of fun and I'm quite impressed with how my HD5870 handles the game. See you on the servers
