Nope PaPaRaZZ!, mine is still on pre-order. I cannot wait.
As for server lag etc., remember this was a Beta where DICE wanted to stress test the heck out of the partner servers. Xero and some of the other admins might confirm, but we had a huge contingent of international players / haxers on our SA servers. EA/DICE wants us to report suspected haxers to them.
I believe that primary spawn points should be excluded for the opposite team but a timer should be in place to avoid snipers camping in their own spawn.
I also believe some servers/admins where blacklisted/severely reprimanded by EA by not following protocol or allowing hacked servers.
The Beta ran without punk buster too.

Totally shame on you. I imagine it was a week of fun nonetheless. I only got like 15hrs play during the 2 weeks of beta... that's even more shameful!

Look i do hope with the launch that a lot of the bugs and stuff are fixed. Thing is i played the BC2 Beta and the final product wasn't that much different, i ended up not playing BC2 that much.
I'm certain BF3 will be epic once we can actually play together with teamies in a team instead of having to play with 3 snipers who don't even bother completing objectives.

I played BC2 quite a lot. I stopped when it was really cheap on steam because a thousand and one n00bs came online and games just stalled.
I am not looking for a perfect game though, because i will be forever disappointed. there is not one game that i have played that i haven't found an issue with, but i just accept that as long as humans are involved in writing the code, etc. there will always be a problem with a game.
One of the buggiest games I ever played was also one of the greatest... America's Army. The gameplay was so good that I battled through the bugs. I did give up on AA3 mainly because the development stopped so the game became stagnant.

Just on bugs - I am not sure if this was a bug I saw, or a hack or maybe a part of the game itself but one of my team mates in the game was standing against a wall and I was only able to see his outline the rest of him was transparent. The graffiti on the wall behind him was shining straight through him. Is this possibly a camouflage as part of the game? Can anyone shed some light on this? I have not been able to find any information on this on the net (I haven't really looked hard though).

A funny one for me was when I lie on a rock and a teamie spawns on me, he kinda lies prone, but downwards with his legs in the air. HAHA. Saw some funny shit in the beta.

That is true darthswnt. From what I've read many gamers cancelled their pre-orders after playing the beta, I'm actually more excited about it now then I was before the beta.

Sorry Bud MW guys require you to part with your money first before , they let you see what crap they made ....then they fix it and call it DLC and make you pay for it again.
